Charles Jennings partnered with colleagues at the University of Fraser Valley to apply his fire risk research. In the paper Targeted Residential Fire Risk Reduction: A Summary of At-Risk Areas in Tennessee (link to this article) a simple approach is used to quickly identify areas at the highest risk of residential fires. These areas are then targeted for smoke detector distribution and installation programs and enhanced public fire education. Copies of the paper are available here:
