Dr. Tristi Nichols succeeds in publishing her peer-reviewed chapter in the book co-edited by Brisolara, S, Seigart, D. and SenGupta, S., published by Guilford Publications, Inc. The book is entitled FEMINIST EVALUATION AND RESEARCH. Dr. Nichols’ chapter, Measuring Gender Inequality in Angola: A Feminist-Ecological Model for Evaluation, is situated in the evaluation section of the manuscript. The impetus for this chapter was after searching high and low for an insightful framework with no success, she just decided to go out and develop her own. This framework includes guiding questions to measure the degree to which an intervention furthers female empowerment and/or minimizes gender inequity within an international context.
