In collaboration with M&D Consulting, Dr. Nichols is co-managing an eight-country study of five research areas: early marriage, teen pregnancy, education, menstrual health, and sexual reproductive health and rights since August 2021.  The aim of this research is to optimize the usability of comprehensive quantitative and qualitative evidence. The research approach includes engaging two African regional offices, the West and Central Africa Regional Office and the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office, which represent a total of eight focus countries. These countries are Zimbabwe, Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Liberia, Mali, Niger, and Nigeria. The number of stakeholders consulted exceeds 200 UNICEF staff.
