Dr. Tristi Nichols provided an independent review of the performance of: (i) www.sidsnet.org/, a knowledge management platform to facilitate networking among Small Island Developing States (or SIDS) stakeholders.  She also assessed the results of an on-line higher education course designed to inspire learning about the economic, social, and environmental vulnerabilities of SIDS. This component was carried out by the University Consortium of Small Island States (UCSIS).  UCSIS has officially been registered on the Partnership Platform for the 2014 Third International SIDS Conference on Small Island Developing States to be held in September in Samoa (see http://www.sids2014.org/).
